Small Red Glass and Brass Lamp

This little lamp has a true red, ball shaped glass piece at the top.  The body is in it's original condition - this means that the brass is showing it's age.  It has not been polished and this little lamp proudly shows it's wear and tear, so please look closely at the pictures.

The lamp has been rewired and has a new switch.  It is a bit unusual in that it has a brass twist switch which comes off of the decorative filagreed piece about the socket.  The lamp came with a switch in that spot, and since Amie rather liked the idea, she simply replaced the broken switch while rewiring the lamp.

Lamp has a height 16 1/4 inches measured to the top of the finial on the bulb clip and a diameter of 4 5/8 inches across the bottom.
