This one-of-a-kind lamp has been years in the making, quite literally.

The amethyst glass font was the very first lamp part Amie ever purchased on eBay. It was tucked away for years, waiting for the right collection of pieces to bring it back to life. Eventually, a mix of vintage lamp parts and a few new components came together to create this tall, slender lamp.

The rich amethyst glass font is the star of the design, paired with a long, narrow column and an assortment of decorative metal and glass elements. The base was salvaged from an old kerosene lamp, while other components were harvested from several different vintage lamps.

Rather than reproducing a particular period lamp, this piece combines old parts from different sources into something completely new. The result is an elegant, slightly eccentric lamp that truly exists nowhere else.
