Gone With the Wind Lamp Re-Imagined

This lamp came to us as a “Gone With the Wind” style, but it missing its top glass piece. It's difficult to find an exact match for these old hand painted lamps.  I saw potential in matching the glass with a different base to give it an entirely new look. A makeover. 

The wood base and wood neck were already in the shop, so I painted them to match. A few brass pieces, both old and new were added to bring it all together. 

The end result is a lamp base that features the bottom part of a hand painted Gone with the Wind lamp on top of a vintage wood base and made taller with a wooden neck painted to match the wood base.

25.5 inches tall measured to the top of the finial and 8 inches in diameter.

Harp and simple finial are included. 

A 12 or 24 inch drum shade would work with this lamp as would our medium or large empire shades.
