This lamp was a rescue in the truest sense.
We found it languishing at a local ReStore with badly failing interior paint. It sat there for months before we finally decided it deserved another chance and brought it back to the Difficult Creek Lighting workshop.
The remains of the original deteriorating paint were removed, and the glass was given an entirely new look. The interior was coated in a rich blue, while the exterior was hand painted with colorful scrolling vines and floral details. The painted glass was then cured in the oven to create a durable, long-lasting finish.
Once the transformation was complete, the lamp was rebuilt with new lamp parts and completely new wiring, making this much more than a cosmetic makeover.
The result is a wonderfully bold, one-of-a-kind lamp that combines vintage glass with colorful hand-painted artistry. The brilliant blue body and green, pink and purple details make it especially suited to maximalist, bohemian and eclectic interiors.
