This one-of-a-kind purple glass table lamp was designed and built by Amie at Difficult Creek Lighting using glass components harvested from vintage lamps and combined with new brass parts.
Rather than simply assembling vintage pieces, the glass was transformed specifically for this lamp. Each glass component was hand painted on the interior with FolkArt Glass Enamel, then baked to cure the finish. Painting the inside allows the color to glow through the glass while preserving the dimensional details and shine of the vintage glass on the exterior.
The result is a rich purple lamp with plenty of vintage character, but an entirely new identity. Brass components provide a warm contrast to the purple glass and complete the custom build.
At only 3.5 inches across the base, this is a wonderfully slender lamp for places where a larger table lamp would feel overwhelming. It works beautifully on a small side table, bedside table, desk, bookshelf or tucked into a colorful little corner.
