Galileo - Atomic Starburst Lamp

Galileo - he's named for the stars!  He is a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted masterpiece by Amie that blends Atomic era flair with Hollywood Regency elegance. Gali is painted a striking turquoise or robin’s egg blue on the interior of his glass body.  His glass body is a salvaged mid century lamp or other lighting part, who knows?  It's part of his mystery.  Amie sat on this glass part for ages, trying to decided exactly how to use it.  Galileo's best feature is his gold atomic starbursts!  The starbursts are cut into the glass and Amie rubbed gold gilding wax into each starburst to make them really pop. Finally, Gali sits on a beautifully ornate metal base, that is gilded with the same gold wax.

Galileo stands at 23 1/4 inches tall with a base of 6 3/4 inches square.

Galileo looks good in a 10 or 12 inch shade.
