Vintage Kimono Silk Drum Lampshade – Red & Blue Plaid – 12 Inch One of a Kind Handmade Shade

A truly one-of-a-kind lampshade made from up-cycled vintage kimono silk in a rich red and blue plaid pattern. The woven pattern and subtle variations in the silk give this shade wonderful texture and character, while the bold colors make it an easy way to completely change the personality of a lamp.

Because this shade was made using vintage kimono fabric, no more of this silk is available. Once this shade is gone, there won’t be another one exactly like it.

This is a classic straight-sided drum shade with a spider fitter, designed for use with a lamp harp and finial.

Handmade in our shop in Halifax, Virginia using carefully selected vintage textile.

This shade works beautifully with vintage, Mid Century Modern, Asian-inspired, eclectic, bohemian and maximalist interiors. The red and blue plaid is especially striking paired with brass, wood, ceramic or colorful art glass lamps.
