I designed this tall tapered drum shade to compliment mid century style lamps. This shape of shade peaked in popularity from the mid 1950s through the late 1960s. These shades were often made from nubby woven fabrics. I think I’ve captured the look with this polyester fabric!
Just above the bottom of the shade I’ve attached decorative trim, not just to dress it up, but the trim gives the shade some weight at the bottom and balances the height.
The top ring measures 12 inches in diameter, the bottom measures 13 inches and the shade is 14.25 inches.
The rings on these shades are up-cycled from original Mid Century lampshades.
Pictured lamps are sold separately.
