Description

Give your lamp a story to tell with this one-of-a-kind handmade empire lampshade, covered in a genuine vintage textile that has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.

I vividly remember this fabric on my childhood dresser, though I have no idea where it originally came from. What began as a small square table covering has been carefully transformed into a unique lampshade that celebrates its history while giving it a beautiful new purpose.

The textile, which I believe is linen, features charming illustrations of dancing couples alongside recognizable German landmarks, creating a nostalgic European feel that's perfect for traditional, cottage, eclectic, or vintage-inspired interiors.

Each shade is handmade in my Virginia workshop using professional lampshade materials and construction techniques. Because this is genuine vintage fabric, no two shades will ever be exactly alike.
