Handmade Blue Art Glass Table Lamp | One-of-a-Kind Blown Glass Lamp | Blue Amber & White Swirl Lamp

This one-of-a-kind table lamp began life as a beautiful hand-blown art glass vase found at a local estate sale.

Amie transformed the vase into a completely new lamp, allowing the unusual glass to remain the star of the design. The transparent blue glass is filled with flowing amber and white swirls, with small bubbles remaining in the glass from the original hand-blowing process. Light passing through the transparent glass brings out even more of its color and movement.

The vase is paired with a painted wood base and an additional painted wood element above the glass. Solid brass neck pieces add warmth and contrast to the blue glass and give the finished lamp a polished, intentional look.

Because the original vase was handmade and this lamp was designed around it, this is a truly one-of-a-kind piece.

SHADE SUGGESTIONS

This lamp works beautifully with a 10" to 12" drum lampshade or with our Small or Medium Empire shades. Its relatively slender profile also makes it easy to use on a nightstand, side table, console or smaller accent table.
