Vintage Ginger Jar Lamp Colorful Birds Lamp; Foliage Ceramic Chinoiserie Table Lamp Asian Decor Traditional Grandmillennial

Vintage Ceramic Ginger Jar Lamp with Colorful Birds & Botanical Decoration

A beautiful vintage ginger jar transformed into a table lamp, featuring colorful birds perched among leafy branches in rich shades of green, yellow, red, blue and brown.

This is not a faux ginger-jar-style lamp. The lamp appears to have been created from an actual ceramic ginger jar, with the matching decorated ceramic lid incorporated into the conversion. The brass lamp fittings pass through the lid, preserving the original ginger jar form and giving the piece much more character than a mass-produced reproduction lamp.

The softly textured ivory/cream ceramic body provides a wonderful backdrop for the detailed bird and foliage decoration. A dark wood Asian-style base grounds the piece beautifully, while the brass hardware adds a warm traditional finish.

It has a wonderful Chinoiserie / traditional / Grandmillennial look and would be equally at home in an English country interior, colorful maximalist room, traditional living room, library, bedroom or collected eclectic space.
