Striking vintage Mid-Century Modern ceramic table lamp featuring a tall sculptural form, richly mottled green glaze and beautiful gold-tone accents.
The ceramic body combines shades of deep forest green and lighter green with a speckled, dimensional glaze that gives the surface wonderful depth and variation. The front features a distinctive raised geometric design accented in gold, adding texture and visual interest to the sleek, elongated silhouette.
A gold-tone band around the bottom provides a polished finishing detail and beautifully complements the greens and metallic accents throughout the lamp.
The form, glaze and decorative details are consistent with Mid-Century Modern lighting, likely dating from the 1960s–1970s. No maker has been identified.
The electrical cord appears newer than the lamp itself and may be a later replacement. Because the history of the electrical components is unknown, I cannot confirm when or whether the lamp was completely rewired.

At just over 30 inches tall, this lamp makes an impressive statement without having an oversized footprint. The combination of earthy greens, flashes of gold and unusual textured glaze gives it a wonderfully distinctive vintage character that works beautifully in Mid-Century Modern, retro, eclectic and maximalist interiors.
